The Moving Genie is a Toronto-based, all-women move management and organizing company serving homeowners, families, and realtors across the GTA, from Oakville to Oshawa, Midtown Toronto to Vaughan. We sit in the space between movers and organizers, managing the planning, the packing, the coordination, the decisions, and the set-up. Nothing falls through, nothing gets left to later, and your home works from day one.

Do I need all four services, or can I book just one?
You can book any service on its own. Many clients start with packing or decluttering and add move management as the move gets closer. We’ll help you scope exactly what you need during your consultation.
Do you work with movers, or are you movers?
We’re not movers — we’re the team around the move. We coordinate with your moving company, manage the timeline, handle packing and unpacking, and make sure everything flows on move day. You hire the truck; we manage everything else.
How early should I book?
As early as possible for complex moves, downsizing, or estate clearing — especially in peak season (spring and fall). For packing and organizing, a few weeks is usually enough. When in doubt, reach out and we’ll let you know what the timeline looks like.
Do you serve areas outside Toronto?
Yes. We serve the full Greater Toronto Area — Midtown Toronto, North York, Vaughan and York Region, Oakville and South Mississauga, and Durham Region. Contact us if you’re unsure whether we cover your area.
How much does move management cost in Toronto?
Every project is scoped individually — cost depends on the size of the home, the services needed, and the timeline. We provide a clear estimate after your consultation so you know exactly what to expect before committing to anything.
What if I only need help with one part of the process?
We work with that. Not every project is a full-home move. We can scope a single packing session, a basement organizing project, or an unpacking window in your new home. Tell us where you are and we’ll tell you what makes sense.
