Declutter Your Way into the New Year: 25 Things to Toss Before 2025

One of our biggest motivators for tidying up the house is having people over. With the season of parties, gatherings, and more indoor time upon us, it’s the perfect moment to clear out unwanted clutter and make space – both physically and mentally – for the things and people that truly matter.

Below are 25 things you can toss before 2025. Last year, I shared a list of 24 things to declutter before 2024, and you can find that post here. Take just a few minutes each day to work through your space, and you’ll be amazed at the difference by the time the clock strikes midnight on January 1.

Decluttering is often the first, and sometimes the only, step needed to create functional spaces that you’ll love to spend time in.

The need in our city is great – and growing. If you’re looking for ideas on where to donate your unwanted items, be sure to check out our resource page here. Check out this past blog post for additional donation resources you can support with your unwanted stuff.

Need help getting started? We love decluttering! Give us a call, and we’ll send a genie to lend a hand.
